When a pipe lets go or a drain backs up, you don't need a sales pitch, you need a licensed technician at your door with the right parts on the truck. That's what we run in Highland Park every single day.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in NJ, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
We've trained our team to diagnose the actual cause, not just patch the symptom. A slow drain in a Highland Park kitchen is rarely just the trap — it's often venting, slope, or a buildup problem further down the line, and we check all of it.
Training doesn't stop after licensing. Our Highland Park team runs regular refreshers on code updates, new fixture technology, and the material mix specific to Highland Park, NJ construction, so a repair holds up to inspection, not just to a quick test run.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Highland Park started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.
When water's actively coming out somewhere it shouldn't, minutes matter more than money. Our on-call technicians in Highland Park are dispatched with the parts and equipment to handle burst pipes, failed water heaters, and overflowing fixtures on the first trip.
From a running toilet that's quietly inflating your water bill to a full re-pipe of an older Highland Park home, our residential team handles the everyday and the extensive with the same attention to detail.
We work around your business hours where possible, not the other way around. Commercial clients across Highland Park, NJ rely on us for scheduled maintenance, backflow prevention compliance, and rapid response when a fixture goes down mid-shift.
Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
We use electronic leak detection to pinpoint the source before any demolition starts, so the repair stays focused instead of turning into a bigger project than it needs to be.
Whether it's a single kitchen faucet swap or a full bathroom remodel's worth of fixtures, our team handles the rough-in and finish work in one visit where possible.
A live dispatcher takes your call, gets a read on the urgency, and starts routing the nearest available technician.
