Most plumbing problems don't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our Mountain Lakes dispatch board is staffed around the clock so a real person answers, not a voicemail.
We built Street Wise - Plumbing around a simple idea: the plumber who shows up should be the same caliber of professional whether it's a leaking faucet or a full sewer line replacement. Every technician working under our name in Mountain Lakes, NJ is licensed, insured, and trained on the specific fixture ages and pipe materials common to homes here.
Our dispatchers know the neighborhoods of Mountain Lakes well enough to tell you roughly what's driving a call before the truck even arrives — older sections tend toward galvanized pipe issues, newer builds toward fixture and appliance connections.
Our trucks are stocked before they leave the yard each morning, not after a customer calls — common valves, wax rings, supply lines, and fittings ride along so a Mountain Lakes technician isn't making a parts-store run mid-repair.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Mountain Lakes started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.
When water's actively coming out somewhere it shouldn't, minutes matter more than money. Our on-call technicians in Mountain Lakes are dispatched with the parts and equipment to handle burst pipes, failed water heaters, and overflowing fixtures on the first trip.
Faucet replacements, garbage disposal swaps, toilet installs, and whole-house re-pipes — our residential division works on the full range of what a Mountain Lakes home needs, not just the easy jobs.
We work around your business hours where possible, not the other way around. Commercial clients across Mountain Lakes, NJ rely on us for scheduled maintenance, backflow prevention compliance, and rapid response when a fixture goes down mid-shift.
Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
Hidden slab leaks and wall leaks get located with acoustic and thermal detection equipment before we ever break into drywall or concrete, which keeps repair costs down.
Faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and shower valves get installed to code, with old connections checked for corrosion rather than just reused out of convenience.
A live dispatcher takes your call, gets a read on the urgency, and starts routing the nearest available technician.
Because our trucks are staged across Mountain Lakes, NJ, dispatch can usually give you an honest, specific arrival window.
Before a wrench touches anything, you'll get a written, upfront price for the repair — no surprise line items after the fact.
The repair is completed, the work area is cleaned up, and you're handed a written warranty on both parts and labor.
You approve a flat price before we start — never a rate that climbs once the job's already underway.
Because our trucks are already staged around Mountain Lakes, NJ, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
Every technician we send is licensed in NJ and covered by full liability insurance — ask to see credentials on arrival.
If a repair we performed fails under normal use within the warranty period, we return and fix it at no charge.
