Most plumbing problems don't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our Coralville dispatch board is staffed around the clock so a real person answers, not a voicemail.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in IA, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Our dispatchers know the neighborhoods of Coralville well enough to tell you roughly what's driving a call before the truck even arrives — older sections tend toward galvanized pipe issues, newer builds toward fixture and appliance connections.
Training doesn't stop after licensing. Our Coralville team runs regular refreshers on code updates, new fixture technology, and the material mix specific to Coralville, IA construction, so a repair holds up to inspection, not just to a quick test run.

We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
Hidden slab leaks and wall leaks get located with acoustic and thermal detection equipment before we ever break into drywall or concrete, which keeps repair costs down.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
