When a pipe lets go or a drain backs up, you don't need a sales pitch, you need a licensed technician at your door with the right parts on the truck. That's what we run in Ellsworth every single day.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in KS, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
We've trained our team to diagnose the actual cause, not just patch the symptom. A slow drain in a Ellsworth kitchen is rarely just the trap — it's often venting, slope, or a buildup problem further down the line, and we check all of it.
We keep a small, accountable roster rather than a rotating pool of subcontractors — the technician you talk to on the phone is trained to the same standard as the one who'll actually be standing in your Ellsworth kitchen.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Ellsworth started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.
A burst supply line or an overflowing toilet doesn't care what time it is, and neither do we. Our emergency crews carry shutoff tools, wet-vacs, and common repair parts so most emergency calls in Ellsworth are resolved in a single visit.
From a running toilet that's quietly inflating your water bill to a full re-pipe of an older Ellsworth home, our residential team handles the everyday and the extensive with the same attention to detail.
Restaurants, offices, and retail spaces in Ellsworth, KS can't afford extended downtime over a plumbing issue. Our commercial team is equipped for grease trap service, backflow testing, and multi-fixture repairs on a schedule that respects your operating hours.
Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
Rather than opening walls on a hunch, our technicians run listening equipment across the suspected line first, marking the leak within a foot or two before any cutting begins.
Faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and shower valves get installed to code, with old connections checked for corrosion rather than just reused out of convenience.
You'll talk to an actual dispatcher in Ellsworth, KS who asks a few quick questions to understand the problem and your address.
Because our trucks are staged across Ellsworth, KS, dispatch can usually give you an honest, specific arrival window.
Your technician diagnoses the issue and walks you through the fix and the flat price before starting, so there's no guessing at the invoice.
Once the fix is complete and tested, you get a written warranty — if something related fails, we come back and make it right.
We quote the job, not the hour, so a repair that takes longer than expected doesn't cost you more.
Because our trucks are already staged around Ellsworth, KS, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
We're happy to have every technician show ID and license on arrival; it's a standard we hold ourselves to, not a special request.
If a repair we performed fails under normal use within the warranty period, we return and fix it at no charge.
