A cracked supply line at 2am, a water heater that quit on a Sunday, a slab leak that's been climbing your water bill for weeks — whatever brought you here, our Edgemoor-based crews are already staged and ready to roll.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in DE, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Experience matters here — a technician who's replaced a hundred water heaters spots the corroded shutoff valve or undersized gas line before it becomes a callback. That's the level of eye we send to every Edgemoor job.
We keep a small, accountable roster rather than a rotating pool of subcontractors — the technician you talk to on the phone is trained to the same standard as the one who'll actually be standing in your Edgemoor kitchen.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Edgemoor started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.
When water's actively coming out somewhere it shouldn't, minutes matter more than money. Our on-call technicians in Edgemoor are dispatched with the parts and equipment to handle burst pipes, failed water heaters, and overflowing fixtures on the first trip.
From a running toilet that's quietly inflating your water bill to a full re-pipe of an older Edgemoor home, our residential team handles the everyday and the extensive with the same attention to detail.
Restaurants, offices, and retail spaces in Edgemoor, DE can't afford extended downtime over a plumbing issue. Our commercial team is equipped for grease trap service, backflow testing, and multi-fixture repairs on a schedule that respects your operating hours.
Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
Hidden slab leaks and wall leaks get located with acoustic and thermal detection equipment before we ever break into drywall or concrete, which keeps repair costs down.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
You'll talk to an actual dispatcher in Edgemoor, DE who asks a few quick questions to understand the problem and your address.

Before a wrench touches anything, you'll get a written, upfront price for the repair — no surprise line items after the fact.
Once the fix is complete and tested, you get a written warranty — if something related fails, we come back and make it right.
You approve a flat price before we start — never a rate that climbs once the job's already underway.
Because our trucks are already staged around Edgemoor, DE, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
We're happy to have every technician show ID and license on arrival; it's a standard we hold ourselves to, not a special request.
If a repair we performed fails under normal use within the warranty period, we return and fix it at no charge.
