A sewage backup rising in a basement floor drain, repeated backups every time the washer runs, or a foul smell in the yard that won't go away — sewer line problems escalate fast and rarely resolve on their own. Our DHS sewer team camera-inspects before recommending any repair.
No sewer repair is recommended without first confirming the cause on camera.
We evaluate whether trenchless lining is viable before defaulting to a full dig-up.
Every technician on a sewer job is licensed and insured for underground utility work.
We treat active backups as emergencies, not routine scheduling.
From a first-time backup to a sewer line that's collapsed and needs full replacement, we diagnose before recommending the scope of repair.
We record the inspection and can walk you through exactly what the footage shows before recommending anything.
A resin liner is installed inside the damaged pipe, sealing cracks and root entry points without digging up the yard.
A root-cutting head clears the blockage, then the line is reassessed for structural damage the roots may have caused.
When a section has collapsed or is too damaged for lining, we replace it, minimizing excavation to the affected section where possible.
Active backups get immediate dispatch to clear the blockage and stop sewage from continuing to back up into the home.
Recurring backups on an otherwise sound line often just need scheduled jetting to stay clear.
Describe the symptoms to dispatch — a single backup versus recurring issues changes how the visit is scheduled.
Our DHS, VA sewer trucks carry both camera and clearing equipment for a single-visit diagnosis.
You'll get a written price for the recommended repair — lining, spot repair, or replacement — before work begins.
We re-inspect after the repair to confirm the line is clear and intact, then back it with a warranty.
"Basement backup on a Saturday and they had it cleared and camera-inspected within hours." — Homeowner, DHS
"Second opinion after another company quoted full replacement — camera showed lining would work instead." — DHS resident
"Appreciated that they diagnosed before quoting instead of assuming the worst-case repair." — DHS customer
We serve DHS proper and nearby DHS, VA communities for sewer inspection, repair, and replacement.
We'll only recommend replacement when the camera footage shows the line is beyond lining or spot repair.
It's a well-established method for cracked or root-damaged pipe that hasn't structurally collapsed.
Camera inspection pricing is quoted upfront when you call, often bundled with the diagnostic visit.
Camera inspection usually identifies the specific recurring cause rather than leaving it a mystery.
