A sewage backup rising in a basement floor drain, repeated backups every time the washer runs, or a foul smell in the yard that won't go away — sewer line problems escalate fast and rarely resolve on their own. Our South Lyme sewer team camera-inspects before recommending any repair.
No sewer repair is recommended without first confirming the cause on camera.
Pipe lining can often repair a damaged sewer line without full excavation of your yard or driveway.
Sewer work in South Lyme, CT requires specific licensing beyond general plumbing — our technicians carry it.
We treat active backups as emergencies, not routine scheduling.
These are the sewer line issues we see most across South Lyme, CT, each requiring a different repair approach.
A waterproof camera is run the full length of the line to locate breaks, root intrusion, or bellied sections.
A resin liner is installed inside the damaged pipe, sealing cracks and root entry points without digging up the yard.
Root removal alone sometimes isn't enough if roots have already cracked the pipe — we check both.
When a section has collapsed or is too damaged for lining, we replace it, minimizing excavation to the affected section where possible.
We prioritize stopping the active backup first, then diagnose the root cause afterward.
Recurring backups on an otherwise sound line often just need scheduled jetting to stay clear.
Describe the symptoms to dispatch — a single backup versus recurring issues changes how the visit is scheduled.
Our South Lyme, CT sewer trucks carry both camera and clearing equipment for a single-visit diagnosis.
You'll get a written price for the recommended repair — lining, spot repair, or replacement — before work begins.
