A cracked supply line at 2am, a water heater that quit on a Sunday, a slab leak that's been climbing your water bill for weeks — whatever brought you here, our Dodgeville-based crews are already staged and ready to roll.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in WI, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Our dispatchers know the neighborhoods of Dodgeville well enough to tell you roughly what's driving a call before the truck even arrives — older sections tend toward galvanized pipe issues, newer builds toward fixture and appliance connections.
Our trucks are stocked before they leave the yard each morning, not after a customer calls — common valves, wax rings, supply lines, and fittings ride along so a Dodgeville technician isn't making a parts-store run mid-repair.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Dodgeville started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.
A burst supply line or an overflowing toilet doesn't care what time it is, and neither do we. Our emergency crews carry shutoff tools, wet-vacs, and common repair parts so most emergency calls in Dodgeville are resolved in a single visit.
Faucet replacements, garbage disposal swaps, toilet installs, and whole-house re-pipes — our residential division works on the full range of what a Dodgeville home needs, not just the easy jobs.
Restaurants, offices, and retail spaces in Dodgeville, WI can't afford extended downtime over a plumbing issue. Our commercial team is equipped for grease trap service, backflow testing, and multi-fixture repairs on a schedule that respects your operating hours.
Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
We use electronic leak detection to pinpoint the source before any demolition starts, so the repair stays focused instead of turning into a bigger project than it needs to be.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
A live dispatcher takes your call, gets a read on the urgency, and starts routing the nearest available technician.
We route the closest qualified technician in Dodgeville, and you'll get a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today."
Before a wrench touches anything, you'll get a written, upfront price for the repair — no surprise line items after the fact.
The repair is completed, the work area is cleaned up, and you're handed a written warranty on both parts and labor.
You approve a flat price before we start — never a rate that climbs once the job's already underway.
Because our trucks are already staged around Dodgeville, WI, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
We're happy to have every technician show ID and license on arrival; it's a standard we hold ourselves to, not a special request.
If a repair we performed fails under normal use within the warranty period, we return and fix it at no charge.

If you're near Dodgeville but technically outside the city line, dispatch still covers you — our routing is built around drive time from the nearest staged truck, not a hard municipal boundary.

Always. You'll know the price before we start, and that number doesn't move once you approve it.
Burst pipes, overflowing fixtures, failed water heaters, sewer backups, and no-water situations are all handled on an emergency basis, 24 hours a day.
Every technician holds a valid WI plumbing license and is covered under our liability and workers' compensation insurance.
Regularly. Dodgeville has a mix of older and newer housing stock, and our technicians are trained on galvanized, cast iron, copper, and PEX repair alike.
Usually. Electronic leak detection lets us pinpoint the exact location first, which keeps the opening small and targeted rather than exploratory.
Our technicians are trained across the major residential brands, whether you have a standard tank unit or a tankless system.
All work is backed by a written workmanship warranty — if the same issue recurs within that period, we return at no charge.
We quote the job upfront regardless of when the call comes in, so you'll know the price before agreeing to anything, including after-hours calls.
Our Dodgeville, WI coverage extends well past Dodgeville proper; check the list of nearby cities and zip codes further down this page.
Same-day replacement is common, though tankless conversions or unusual venting setups may need a short follow-up visit to finish code-compliant venting.
We ask that someone be available to approve the written quote before work starts; after that, staying on-site is your choice, not a requirement.
