A cracked supply line at 2am, a water heater that quit on a Sunday, a slab leak that's been climbing your water bill for weeks — whatever brought you here, our Kearney-based crews are already staged and ready to roll.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in NE, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Our dispatchers know the neighborhoods of Kearney well enough to tell you roughly what's driving a call before the truck even arrives — older sections tend toward galvanized pipe issues, newer builds toward fixture and appliance connections.
We keep a small, accountable roster rather than a rotating pool of subcontractors — the technician you talk to on the phone is trained to the same standard as the one who'll actually be standing in your Kearney kitchen.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Kearney started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.
A burst supply line or an overflowing toilet doesn't care what time it is, and neither do we. Our emergency crews carry shutoff tools, wet-vacs, and common repair parts so most emergency calls in Kearney are resolved in a single visit.
Faucet replacements, garbage disposal swaps, toilet installs, and whole-house re-pipes — our residential division works on the full range of what a Kearney home needs, not just the easy jobs.
We work around your business hours where possible, not the other way around. Commercial clients across Kearney, NE rely on us for scheduled maintenance, backflow prevention compliance, and rapid response when a fixture goes down mid-shift.
Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
We use electronic leak detection to pinpoint the source before any demolition starts, so the repair stays focused instead of turning into a bigger project than it needs to be.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
A live dispatcher takes your call, gets a read on the urgency, and starts routing the nearest available technician.
Because our trucks are staged across Kearney, NE, dispatch can usually give you an honest, specific arrival window.
Before a wrench touches anything, you'll get a written, upfront price for the repair — no surprise line items after the fact.
Once the fix is complete and tested, you get a written warranty — if something related fails, we come back and make it right.
We quote the job, not the hour, so a repair that takes longer than expected doesn't cost you more.
Our routing keeps trucks distributed across Kearney, NE so we can usually get to you same-day.
Every technician we send is licensed in NE and covered by full liability insurance — ask to see credentials on arrival.
Our workmanship warranty means the fix is expected to hold — and if it doesn't, that's on us to correct, not you.

If you're near Kearney but technically outside the city line, dispatch still covers you — our routing is built around drive time from the nearest staged truck, not a hard municipal boundary.
Because trucks are staged throughout Kearney, NE, most Kearney calls see a technician the same day, with priority routing for active leaks and no-water situations.
Always. You'll know the price before we start, and that number doesn't move once you approve it.
Burst pipes, overflowing fixtures, failed water heaters, sewer backups, and no-water situations are all handled on an emergency basis, 24 hours a day.
Every technician holds a valid NE plumbing license and is covered under our liability and workers' compensation insurance.
Regularly. Kearney has a mix of older and newer housing stock, and our technicians are trained on galvanized, cast iron, copper, and PEX repair alike.
Usually. Electronic leak detection lets us pinpoint the exact location first, which keeps the opening small and targeted rather than exploratory.
We service and install most major tank and tankless brands available in Kearney, NE, both gas and electric.
All work is backed by a written workmanship warranty — if the same issue recurs within that period, we return at no charge.
