A kitchen sink that drains slower every week, a shower that backs up mid-rinse, a floor drain that gurgles when the washer runs — these rarely fix themselves, and snaking the surface clog usually just buys a few weeks. Our Sumner drain team runs camera inspections to find the actual cause.
Every drain job in Sumner starts with a look inside the pipe, not a guess based on symptoms alone.
Our Sumner, ME drain crew is licensed and insured, trained specifically on camera equipment and hydro-jetting systems.
We keep drain-specific equipment on dedicated trucks so Sumner, ME dispatch doesn't need a special equipment run.
The diagnosis determines the price, and that price is confirmed in writing before we start clearing anything.
These are the drain issues we see most often across Sumner, each handled with the equipment built for that specific cause.
High-pressure water clears grease, sludge, and scale buildup from the inside of the pipe wall, not just punching a hole through the clog like a cable snake.
We record and can show you the footage — you'll see exactly what's causing the clog, not just take our word for it.
Cable snaking is still the right call for a simple hair or debris clog close to the fixture.
Tree roots that have worked into a sewer or drain line get cut and cleared with a root-cutting head, then the line is reassessed for damage.
Grease buildup in kitchen lines is cleared with jetting, which handles congealed grease far better than a cable.
A maintenance plan on a recurring-clog line usually costs less over a year than repeat emergency calls.
Tell dispatch which fixtures are affected and whether it's a slow drain or a full backup — that shapes which truck gets sent.
Our Sumner trucks carry both cable and jetting equipment, so a second trip is rarely needed.
The line gets camera-inspected, the actual blockage identified, and a flat price quoted before any clearing begins.
The drain is cleared and camera-verified afterward to confirm the line is actually open, not just flowing better temporarily.

We serve Sumner proper and nearby Sumner, ME communities, prioritizing full backups ahead of routine slow-drain calls.
We don't upsell jetting by default; the footage determines which method actually fixes the problem.
Modern jetting equipment lets us control pressure, and we camera-check condition before recommending it on aging pipe.
Camera inspection pricing is quoted upfront and often bundled into the diagnosis fee for a drain cleaning call.
Root intrusion is common in Sumner, ME on older lines; we clear it and check whether the pipe itself needs repair.
It depends on kitchen volume, but many Sumner restaurants schedule quarterly service to avoid emergency backups.
Recurring clogs after snaking are the classic sign jetting or a camera diagnosis is actually needed.
