When a pipe lets go or a drain backs up, you don't need a sales pitch, you need a licensed technician at your door with the right parts on the truck. That's what we run in Newport every single day.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in RI, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Experience matters here — a technician who's replaced a hundred water heaters spots the corroded shutoff valve or undersized gas line before it becomes a callback. That's the level of eye we send to every Newport job.
We keep a small, accountable roster rather than a rotating pool of subcontractors — the technician you talk to on the phone is trained to the same standard as the one who'll actually be standing in your Newport kitchen.
These are the patterns our Newport dispatchers hear about most right before a job turns into an emergency call.
When water's actively coming out somewhere it shouldn't, minutes matter more than money. Our on-call technicians in Newport are dispatched with the parts and equipment to handle burst pipes, failed water heaters, and overflowing fixtures on the first trip.
Faucet replacements, garbage disposal swaps, toilet installs, and whole-house re-pipes — our residential division works on the full range of what a Newport home needs, not just the easy jobs.
We work around your business hours where possible, not the other way around. Commercial clients across Newport, RI rely on us for scheduled maintenance, backflow prevention compliance, and rapid response when a fixture goes down mid-shift.
Slow drains, recurring clogs, and sewer backups get diagnosed with real equipment — camera inspection and hydro-jetting — not guesswork. We'll show you exactly what's happening in the line before recommending a repair.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
We use electronic leak detection to pinpoint the source before any demolition starts, so the repair stays focused instead of turning into a bigger project than it needs to be.
Whether it's a single kitchen faucet swap or a full bathroom remodel's worth of fixtures, our team handles the rough-in and finish work in one visit where possible.
A live dispatcher takes your call, gets a read on the urgency, and starts routing the nearest available technician.
We route the closest qualified technician in Newport, and you'll get a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today."
Your technician diagnoses the issue and walks you through the fix and the flat price before starting, so there's no guessing at the invoice.
The repair is completed, the work area is cleaned up, and you're handed a written warranty on both parts and labor.
You approve a flat price before we start — never a rate that climbs once the job's already underway.
Because our trucks are already staged around Newport, RI, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
We're happy to have every technician show ID and license on arrival; it's a standard we hold ourselves to, not a special request.
Our workmanship warranty means the fix is expected to hold — and if it doesn't, that's on us to correct, not you.
