A cracked supply line at 2am, a water heater that quit on a Sunday, a slab leak that's been climbing your water bill for weeks — whatever brought you here, our Metairie-based crews are already staged and ready to roll.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in LA, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
Experience matters here — a technician who's replaced a hundred water heaters spots the corroded shutoff valve or undersized gas line before it becomes a callback. That's the level of eye we send to every Metairie job.
Training doesn't stop after licensing. Our Metairie team runs regular refreshers on code updates, new fixture technology, and the material mix specific to Metairie, LA construction, so a repair holds up to inspection, not just to a quick test run.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Metairie started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.

Our drain team runs camera line inspections before recommending anything invasive, so you're not paying for a dig-up when a hydro-jetting service would clear it.
Whether it's a pilot light that won't stay lit or a full tank-to-tankless conversion, our technicians are certified on both gas and electric systems common in Metairie, LA homes.
Rather than opening walls on a hunch, our technicians run listening equipment across the suspected line first, marking the leak within a foot or two before any cutting begins.
Faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, and shower valves get installed to code, with old connections checked for corrosion rather than just reused out of convenience.
